Our client is 31 years old and lives with cerebral palsy.

Out client has a big personality, a great sense of humour and enjoys spending time with others out in the community.

Our client requires support both at home to prompt and provide with minimal assistance and in the wider community,
-
Some of his interests include karaoke, music, IT, artwork, going to the gym, coffee shops, theatre, cinema and the pub. Our client would like to explore new experiences and would like support to do this.

Our client communicates verbally and uses his Ipad for the odd word.
You will support with:

Medication Support
Successful Applicant:
- Must be able to drive and have a clean automatic or manual UK license

Previous experience working with individuals living with a learning disability

Be dynamic, fun and resourceful
-
Be flexible and adaptable to the Client's needs

Be able to work on their own initiative and have good common sense
-
You will be working as part of an MDT and will need to follow rehabilitation plans to promote independence
-
Processing information at times can be difficult therefore good communication skills are vital
-
Experience of co-ordinating and planning activities would be beneficial
-
The Senior Support Worker position must have experience supporting a team and assisting with rotas
