Job Title: Support Worker – Brain Injury
Pay Rate: £18.00 PAYE per hour
Hours: Part-time – 8 hours per week (10:00am – 2:00pm every Wednesday and Friday)

About the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Support Worker to provide companionship and community-based support for a gentleman living with a brain injury.

This is a highly rewarding role focused on promoting independence, confidence, and social engagement. The client enjoys spending time in the community and leading an active lifestyle, making this an ideal opportunity for a Support Worker who enjoys building positive relationships and supporting meaningful activities.

No personal care is required within this package.

There is also potential for additional hours to become available once established within the package.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Supporting community access and social activities
• Encouraging independence and choice
• Assisting with appointments, outings, and recreational activities
• Promoting wellbeing and engagement in meaningful experiences
• Following care plans and support strategies
• Building a positive and professional working relationship with the client
• Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the wider support team

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience working within a care or support setting
• Experience supporting individuals with a brain injury
• A caring, patient, and person-centred approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently and use initiative
• A full UK Driving Licence
• Access to your own vehicle

Holiday Pay Information

Our advertised PAYE rate includes 12.07% holiday pay. You have full flexibility over how this is paid:

• Take it weekly as part of your pay, or
• Accrue it separately and use it when you take time off

There is no expiry on accrued holiday pay – it is always available when you need it.
