Job Title: Female Support Worker

Location: Ponteland, NE20
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Hours: Full-time – 30 hours per week (7:00am – 5:00pm shifts)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

Priority Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting an experienced, compassionate Female Support Worker to join our agency team and provide dedicated 1:1 support to a young person in Ponteland.

You will be supporting a 15-year-old female with Cerebral Palsy who lives at home with her family in a specially adapted property.  This is a rewarding and well-established care package where you will play a key role in supporting her daily routines, independence, and quality of life.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Providing personal care with dignity and respect (including dressing and hygiene)
• Supporting with nutrition, medication, and JEG feeding
• Assisting the client in attending school
• Encouraging and supporting meaningful activities at home and in the community
• Following person-centred care plans and working closely with family and professionals
