Job title: Support Worker

Location: Durham, DH6

Pay rate: £18-£20 per hour, weekly pay every Friday

Shifts and schedule: Part time 20 hours per week (4 x 5-hour shifts per week)

Contract: Temporary

Must: Drive and have access to your own car, being physically fit and able to engage in the gym / rock climbing is essential

Priority Healthcare have an exciting opportunity for a Complex Care Support Worker/Care Assistant looking for a new challenge in the Durham area.
This is an excellent opportunity to support an individual on his rehabilitation package with an acquired brain injury in a fully adapted house.

Client and Role:
•  
Our client is a male living with an acquired brain injury requiring specialist support.
•   Our client requires support for all aspects of personal and domestic care, as well as support within the community including rock climbing, football and attending the gym

Successful Applicant:

  • Being physically fit and able to engage in the gym / rock climbing is essential
  • Must drive and have access to your own car
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to engage in rehabilitation programme
  • Must have experience supporting individuals with brain injuries
  • Must be flexible to workdays and weekends
