Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Hartlepool
Salary: £14.30 - £15.50 per hour
Job Type: Bank Staff (Flexible Hours)

About the Role:

Are you someone who thrives on making a positive impact? As a Complex Care Support Worker in Hartlepool, you’ll be at the heart of providing life-changing care to individuals with complex physical and mental health conditions. Supporting clients with brain injuries, spinal injuries, strokes, and other challenges, you’ll help them live independently and with dignity.

What you’ll be doing:

Personal Support: Assisting clients with their daily routines, including washing, dressing, and meals.
Specialist Care: Helping with medication, monitoring health, and maintaining detailed care records.
Encouraging Independence: Supporting clients to maintain independence in their daily lives.
Emotional Care: Building trust and offering emotional support to both clients and their families.
Team Collaboration: Working alongside healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care plans.


To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

At least 12 months of experience in complex care, particularly supporting individuals with physical or neurological conditions.
A caring, empathetic approach and the ability to connect with others.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and nights, on a bank basis.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as some clients may require transport for appointments or activities.
The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care, or a Care Certificate
