Salary:       £14.30 - £15.50 per hour
Job Type:   Bank Staff (Flexible Hours)

About the Role:

Looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference? As a Complex Care Support Worker in Darlington, you’ll provide dedicated support to individuals living with complex physical and mental health conditions. Your role will be to empower clients with conditions such as brain injuries, spinal injuries, strokes, and other neurological challenges to live independently and with dignity.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Personal Care: Supporting clients with daily routines, including washing, dressing, and meals.
Clinical Support: Assisting with medication, health monitoring, and maintaining accurate care records.
Encouraging Independence: Helping clients stay active and independent in their everyday lives.
Providing Comfort: Offering companionship and reassurance to clients and their families.
Collaborative Working: Partnering with healthcare professionals to implement holistic care plans.

About You:

Has at least 12 months of experience working in a complex care setting, particularly supporting individuals with physical or neurological conditions.
NVQ Level 2 or 3 (related to healthcare)
Is flexible to work varied hours, including weekends and nights, on a bank basis.
Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle, as some clients may require transport to appointments or activities.
Can work effectively both independently and as part of a supportive team.
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
