Position: Match Day Hospitality Retail Assistant 
Location: Etihad Stadium, Manchester 
Schedule: All Manchester City Home Matchdays and some additional events

Role Overview: 
As a Match Day Hospitality Retail Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our esteemed VIP guests at the Etihad Stadium. 
Your responsibilities will include: 

• Warmly welcoming and providing support to VIP guests within the hospitality section of the stadium. 
• Ensuring the highest standard of customer service is delivered to our VIP guests. 
• Offering prompt click-and-collect services as required. 
• Good knowledge of stadium layout, able to deliver orders to premium/VIP locations. 

 
This position requires well-presented, adaptable individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment. Full training will be provided; however, prior retail experience and a genuine interest in football are desirable. 
 
Key Details: 

• Availability required for all home games during the 2023/2024 season (approximately 30 home matches) – This is not negotiable. 
• Occasional weekday and weekend availability for key events throughout the year. 
• Please note this is primarily a matchday only role, 100% of the mens home matches (premier league +cups) and some of the womens home matches. Schedule can be seen here: https://www.mancity.com/fixtures/mens  
• Please note, due to where the work takes place this particular role is 18+ age only.  

 
Requirements: 

• Provide first-class customer service to all guests in the stadium lounges and boxes. 
• Display enthusiasm and high energy levels. 
• Excellent communication skills to engage professionally and amicably with premium clientele. 
• Maintain consistent attention to detail and deliver exceptional customer service even in high-pressure situations. 
• Always present a professional appearance, suitable for a stadium work environment. 
• Demonstrate dedication and commitment to working as many home matchday fixtures at the MCFC store as possible. 
• Engage with fans during shifts, ensuring a memorable experience within the stadium.
