Location: Shaw, Rochdale
Job Type: Full-time, 48 hours (temp to permanent)
Pay rate: £13.50 to £14.17 per hour

Priority Recruitment are excited to present this brand-new opportunity for a Support Worker in Rochdale.
We are seeking a patient, caring Female Support Worker to look after a 50-year-old female living with a brain injury. Looking for an individual who shares our belief that disability is not a barrier and doesn’t have to stop anyone from living their best life and enjoying new and varied experiences.
The role includes personal care and manual handling and supporting her in her day-to-day life.
Initially, this is a temporary role with the opportunity to be employed permanently after an initial trial period.
Please note that previous experience in complex care and a driver’s license is required for this role.
Salary & Benefits:
- Good pay rate of £13.50 per hour during the week and £14.17 per hour at the weekends and on Bank Holidays.

Client and Role:
- Supporting the client at her own home.
- The client lives with a brain injury, uses an electric wheelchair and is partially verbal.
- She needs support with personal care, toileting, administering medication and being taken to activities and appointments.
Successful Applicant:
- Must have previous experience with clients living with brain injury and requiring complex care.
- Able to work unsociable hours (evenings, weekends).
- Must have a full valid driver’s license to take the client to appointments.
