Job Description

Job Title: Registered Manager 
Location: Wigan
Pay rate: £45,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, 42 hours 
Shift and schedule: Monday – Sunday, 08:00-22:00, Mixture of full and half days, Weekend Availability
 
Priority Healthcare are recruiting for a talented Registered Manager for a children’s home in the Wigan area. Initially this role is to manage and lead the home whilst looking after the young individuals that live there.

Clients & Role:
  • Clients have learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and Epilepsy.
  • Ensure children receive excellent levels of emotional and physical care whilst promoting their independence.
  • To manage the budget of the home.
  • Providing leadership to the employees and ensuring the safety of all individuals.
  • Complying and exceeding all regulatory standards.
  • Managing the team and provide leadership.
  • Requires management skills.
  • Individual loves going out into the community.
  • Promoting independence.
  • Permanent role.
 
The successful applicant:
  • Must possess a full UK driving license and be able to drive a manual vehicle.
  • Have experience in a management role.
  • Hold NVQ/QCFL5 or equivalent in Leadership and Management.
  • Have a minimum of 6 months care experience within the UK.
  • Hold a Level 3 diploma in Health & Social care.
